Diagnose: Chronische Lahmheit hinten links
Krankheitsbericht: Im Juli 2008 zeigte das Pferd eine akute Lahmheit hinten links. Die Diagnose Fesselträgerentzündung wurde in einer Klinik gestellt. Ultraschalluntersuchung ergab Veränderungen sowohl in Fesselträger hinten links als auch im Fesselträger hinten rechts. Als Therapie wurde Boxenruhe und dann Bewegung im Schritt angeordnet. Ruhezeit: Ein Jahr. Ich führte die Erstuntersuchung im März 2009 durch, Symptome: mittelgradige Trablahmheit hinten links, deutliche druckempfindliche Schwellung beider Fesselträger, besonders hinten links. Therapie: VetDrop-Behandlung beider Fesselträger mit Hydro-Vital-Serum alle zwei Tage, täglich eine halbe Stunde Schritt unter dem Reiter in der Halle (Bewegung auf festem Boden war wegen der Nervosität des Pferdes nicht möglich.) Bei der Nachkontrolle nach 14 Tagen zeigte das Pferd an der Longe eine geringgradige Lahmheit auf beiden Händen im Trab. Die Schwellung war auf die Hälfte zurückgegangen und die Druckempfindlichkeit geringgradig. Weitere 14 Tage später war keine Lahmheit mehr sichtbar und die Schwellung war weiter zurückgegangen und nicht mehr druckempfindlich. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt, also 4 Wochen nach Behandlungsbeginn, konnte die Bewegung auf eine dreiviertel Stunde Schritt und Trab gesteigert werden (Trab insges. ca. 5 Minuten). Nach weiteren 4 Wochen konnte das Pferd auch im Galopp geritten werden, die Schwellung war jetzt vollständig verschwunden. Weitere 4 Wochen später wurde das Pferd normal gearbeitet und im Gelände geritten ohne daß sich eine Verschlechterung einstellte. Weitere 4 Wochen später wurde das Pferd nur noch 2mal pro Woche behandelt. Daraufhin wurde mit dem Springtraining begonnen, welches inzwischen auf Sprünge von ca. 1 Meter gesteigert wurde. Prophylaktisch wird das Pferd noch ca. 4 Wochen 2mal pro Woche mit VetDrop behandelt.
