Pferd – „Santorino“
Diagnose: Zyste im Fesselbein
Anamnese & Therapie:
Der Trakehner Wallach „Santorino“, geb. 2005, wurde mir das erste Mal am 11.11.08
vorgestellt. Vorgeschichtlich hatte das Pferd eine ca 1,5 x 2cm große Zyste im laterodistalen Fesselbein mit Krongelenksbeteiligung am linken Hinterbein. Das Pferd
zeigte bis dato eine Lahmheit 2. Grades, wenn er belastet wurde.
Bei meinem ersten Besuch erhielt Santorino am 11.11.08 eine intraartikuläre
Injektion ins Krongelenk mit Hyaluronsäure und Triamcinolon sowie eine
Tildreninfusion. Bei der Nachuntersuchung am 20.11.08 zeigte das Pferd keine
Lahmheit. Santorino bekam weiterhin am 19.12.08 und am 26.2.09 je eine
Tildreninfusion.
Am 11.2.09 wurden Kontrollröntgenbilder angefertigt, die jedoch keine positive
radiographische Veränderung zeigten. Klinisch blieb das Pferd trotz leichter Arbeit
lahmfrei. Darauf hin wurde der Wallach im März 2009 von Herrn Dehncke mit VetDrop ca. 15 mal behandelt und es wurden weitere Kontrollaufnahmen am 2.6., 30.6. und 2.9. angefertigt.
Hier zeigte sich nun eine Veränderung der Zyste im positiven Sinn: Die Zyste hat
sich verkleinert und eine beginnende wolkige Durchbauung ist erkennbar.
Besonders auffällig ist, daß der therapeutische Effekt noch nach
Behandlungsabschluß weiter zu bestehen scheint.
